We at BestBettingSites.ie feel it’s only right that our readers get to know the team. Not only a group of colleagues, but we’re also good friends. Although a small team with just four people, our determination to strive for the same goals and quality of work ensures a positive, driven atmosphere when working together.

It’s true that we’re a relatively young site, however, the people developing our ideas are heavily experienced in online betting, exploring new bonuses and keeping up-to-date with the latest news in the world of gambling.

Rickie - Hi there. I’m Rickie - lead writer at bestbettingsites.ie. I love learning about new things, which is why I’m proud to be part of this team. Together we teach each other something new every day, and I’m hopeful that we’ll continue working alongside one another for many years to come.

Some of my favourite past-times include watching football, MMA and F1. There’s nothing quite like placing a bet on the underdog and seeing it come good and in my opinion, these sports are the very best to take a punt on when chasing a big win.

I’m an avid reader of all things fiction and to be honest, I never grew out of novels for teens. When I don’t have my head deep inside a thriller, I’m usually scrolling through Paddy Power and BoyleSports trying to find some decent odds on horse-racing. Typically, I’ll back the favourite, but sometimes - when I’m feeling cheeky - I’ll take a chance on someone else. I find it’s often better to play it safe. Boring, I know!

Cian - My name is Cian and I’m a Liverpool fan. Anyone that knows me will tell you that’s all there is to know about me! In all seriousness, there are a few things I enjoy doing apart from moaning at the TV during a match.

Most of my work is research-heavy, which I love. Finding new information and using it to enhance my knowledge of which bets I could and should make in future is loads of fun. In particular, I like delving into sports stats on the likes of basketball and American football since I don’t usually watch them live. In school, I was always trying to make people laugh, and now I get to do that with a tight-nit bunch of friends every day.

Betting isn’t just my job, it’s my favourite hobby. My biggest win came in 2016 when - believe it or not - I put money on Leicester winning the Premier League. It wasn’t a huge wager, but enough to keep me going for a few months!
